Job Description:
Lakeside Consulting Group is a Minnesota based consulting firm focused on providing our clients with premier supported staff augmentation resources. As a Privacy Consultant you will be responsible for working with clients, and Lakeside Partners and Directors, to help address privacy compliance obligations through assessments, development of capabilities, and implementation of solutions.
Our Privacy Consultants typically work remotely across the US to help our clients handle their privacy compliance obligations. You may be involved in the following activities:
- Conducting Assessments
- Developing privacy capabilities to address privacy obligations
- Developing policies, standards, and procedures
- Operationalizing privacy capabilities such as PbD, DSRs, and PIA/DPIAs
- Assessing new privacy laws and regulations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of privacy experience
- Strong understanding of privacy principles and privacy operations
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be an excellent communicator and writer
Nice to Have:
- CIPP or similar certification
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD)
- Healthcare Experience
- Experience with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, GLBA
- Experience with privacy impact assessments as well as privacy risk remediation efforts
- Privacy project/program management experience
